Please see the announcement below regarding the 2019 Midwest Forum.

 

 

The 2019 Midwest Forum on Chinese Literature and Culture is devoted to fostering dialogue on relevant topics among the faculty and graduate students of Indiana University (IU), University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), and other Midwest universities. Please join us for a workshop and a scholarly talk on premodern drama by Professor Stephen West (Arizona State University), a workshop on geography and traditional literature by Professor Chunhong Wang (Lingnan University, Hong Kong), and another on medieval narrative literature by Manling Luo (Indiana University), as well as a roundtable with other IU and UIUC faculty (Zong-qi Cai, and Jingling Chen, and Tie Xiao).

 

This is event is cosponsored by the East Asian Studies Center at Indiana University and the Center for East Asian and Pacific Studies at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

 

This exciting forum is on Saturday, April 6, 2019 and is being held at the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies, Indiana University, Bloomington, IN.
